SAMe is a metabolite of methionine (an essential amino acid). Jarrow Formulas SAMe 200 provides a full 200 mg SAMe (net yield) from 400 mg of SAMe tosylate disulfate. The biologically active form of SAMe is the S,S structure. This formula is made naturally by fermentation and processed without chemical solvents to preserve 68-80% S,S SAMe.
